She was predeceased by: her husband David A. Spear, Sr.; her parents, Michael P. Cronin and Elizabeth Cronin (McGuigan); her daughter-in-law Kristen Spear (Eads); and her brother Michael Cronin.

She is survived by: her children, David A. Spear, Jr. (Kate Galvin) of Cranston, RI and Carrie May Spear of Hopedale, MA.; her grandchildren, Emily, Jack (Caitlin) and Brad Spear; and her siblings, Elizabeth Emery (late Mickey) of Bellingham, Edward Cronin (Joyce) of Whitinsville and Patrica Cronin of Arizona. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
