He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor Dewhurst (Thompson) and Albert F. Dewhurst of Belchertown. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Dewhurst (Czapla); his brothers-in-law, Robert Cole of Longwood, FL and Father Bruce Czapla of Winsted, CT; his nephews, Kevin (Lois) and Shawn Cole of Alton Bay, NH; his niece Kelly Berren of Longwood, FL; and his great-nieces, Samantha, Robin Cole and Alexandria Berren of Michigan. He is also survived by the many friends who became more family than friends.
