It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita M. Pyzocha of Belchertown, Massachusetts, born in Palmer, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 17, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Griffin and Margaret Griffin (Shea); her husband John Pyzocha; her stepson John Pyzocha; and her brother Norman Griffin.
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Austin; her stepdaughter Karen Brown (James); her grandchildren, Heather Daponde, Tim Brown, Jayme Leger, John Pyzocha, Michael Pyzocha and Michelle Sohn; her great grandchildren, Amber Mae and Raeanne; and her great great grandchildren, Caiden and Charlee Mae.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to hospice, a cause close to Rita's heart, in recognition of the compassionate care they provide.
