He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Mead and Ronald Mead; and his brothers, Alan Mead and Thomas Mead. He is survived by: his children, Patricia Wheelock (Kenneth), David Mead (Joan), James Mead (Debra), Daniel Mead (Anne), Susan McComb (Jeffrey), Cynthia Heffernan (Terence), Joseph Mead (Christina), Rebecca Boulrice, Debra Page, Benjamin Mead (Donna), Sarah Majewski (Gregory) and Sally Mead; and his siblings, Jennifer Jacobs (Nona-Jean), Barbara McBratney Mead and Richard Mead. He is also survived by his 26 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
