He was predeceased by: his father Richard Benjamin; his wife Rita Benjamin (Zajchowski); and his siblings, Anna Emerson, Stella Ploof and Francis Benjamin.

He is survived by: his children, Donald Benjamin (Linda) of Deltona, FL and Debi Huddleston (Roger) of Acton, ME; his siblings, Josie Tomala of Westfield, MA, Clara Willard of Brattleboro, VT, Jospeh Benjamin and Lois Tracey; and his nephews, Greg Godard (Karen) of Granby, MA, Doug Godard of Wales, MA, Wally of Westfield and Timothy Tomala of Westfield. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
