He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" A. Santaniello (Waldron); his parents, Saverio Santaniello and Antonette Santaniello (Santaniello); and his brothers, Ralph Santaniello and Carmino Santaniello.

He is survived by: his children, Saverio "Sam" Santaniello (Christine) of Springfield, MA, Paul Santaniello (Dorothy) of Longmeadow, MA and Antonette Walker (William) of Barre, MA; his grandchildren, Gia Torres (Benjamin), Saverio Santaniello, Nina O'Connor (Patrick), Carina Boucher (Dan), Mario Santaniello (Chelsea), Dominic Walker (Jordyn), Joseph Santaniello (Stephanie Welch) and Gabbie Walker; and his great grandchildren, Alessandra Torres, Sofia Boucher and Beckham Walker. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
