He was predeceased by: his sister Alice Gancarz. He is survived by: his wife Amelia J. Gancarz (Makuch) of Belchertown; his children, Dr. Gregory Gancarz (Yuka) and Dr. Andrea J. Gancarz-Gojgini (Babak Gojgini) of Belchertown; and his grandsons, Kent, Grant, Colin Gancarz and Andrew B. Gojgini.
