She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Swanson and Marcia Swanson (Stanclift); and her siblings, Judy, Edwin and Carl.

She is survived by: her husband Samuel Joyal; her daughters, Sheila Janocha (Peter), Kimberly Croke (Barry) and Heidi Terault (Christopher); her grandchildren, Nicole, Thomas, Michael, Karen and Alexandria; and her siblings, Beverly, Geraldine, Marcia (Marty), Donna, Evelyn (Mike), James (Gail) and Bertha. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
