He was predeceased by: his parent Alice Floy (Rollins); his children, Heidi Tyler and Daniel Hawkins; his siblings, Billy Ray Hawkins and Doris Dickinson; and his grandson Eric Auclair.

He is survived by: his spouse Sonya Hawkins (Ross); his parent Denny Ray Hawkins; his children, Dardi, Barbara Harte and Monique Stifter of San Antonio, TX; and his sister Alice Ann Hawkins. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
