He is survived by: his mother Cruz Olivera; his wife Barbara Burgos (Fay); his sons, Alexander Burgos (Olivia Ferdon) of Connecticut and Nicholas Burgos (Rachel Burgos); his grandson Finn Burgos of Belchertown; his sisters, Elisabeth Kranz, Susan Mohs (Jon Mohs) of Florida and Doris Cochran (Michael Cochran) of Plymouth, MA.; and his siblings-in-law, Thomas, Robert Fay of Springfield and Nancy Joanides (Charles).
