He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Johnston and Frances Johnston (Proctor). He is survived by: his wife Denise L. Wedge Johnston; his stepparents, Arlene Johnston (Langill), Chelmsford and Lowell; his daughter Ashley Campbell (Corin) of Pepperell; his stepson Jason; and his brothers, Gary Johnston (Kay) of Wakefield, Raymond Johnston (Lauren) of Newburyport and Steven Johnston of Wakefield. He is also survived by his seven granddaughters.
