He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Moynihan and Rita Moynihan. He is survived by: his wife Lois Thoms; his child Dana Thoms (Kelly); his grandson Ian of Andover; his children, Jason Thoms (Kelly) of Weare, NH and Joanna Prentice (Chris); his grandchildren, Lilyana and Jayce of Nashua, NH.; his sister-in-law Mary Ellen Moynihan of Hudson; and his nieces and nephews, Jeffrey Moynihan, Michael Moynihan, Jennifer Moynihan and Catherine Janda.
