He was predeceased by: his spouse Marion H. Stearns (Earle); his grandson Corey J. Stearns; his parents, William Stearns and Alice Stearns (Taylor); his sister Gladys "DeDe" Stearns of West Newbury; and his brother-in-law John.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Collins (Thomas Collins Jr.) of Beverly, Barry T. Stearns (Roseann E. Feldeisen) and Mark R. Stearns (Debra D. Stearns) of Goffstown, NH.; his grandchildren, Nathan, Joshua Collins, Maggie Gagnon, Ian J. Stearns and Matthew R. Stearns; his great grandchildren, May, Arya, Samuel, Sloane and Wil; his siblings-in-law, Ellen Dunn, Marie Gostanian, Theresa Valentine, Patricia Earle, Edmund and Paul Earle; and his great grandchild Will.
