She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Degeis; her parents, Josiah M. and Madeline B. Montgomery (Hamilton); and her daughter Carol Gregoire. She is survived by: her sons, Alan Dern (Eileen) of Bedford and Gary Dern of Epsom, NH. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
