He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Florence Cowan and Dr. Herman Cowan; his children, Chris, Andrew, Nancy, Kerry Blue and Siamese; his wife Katherine; and his grandchildren, Katherine, Samantha, Jennifer and James. He was also cherished by his father and other family members.
