He was predeceased by: his child Catherine Onyechefule (Powderly); his sibling Ruth Johnston; and his grandchild Scott Powderly. He is survived by: his spouse Virginia Powderly (Holland); his parents, Richard Powderly and Ethel Powderly; his children, Patricia Gillis (Neil), Robert, Holly (David Gertz), Virginia Powderly and Steven Onyechefule (Susan); his siblings, Marion McGrath, Doris Litchfield, Kenneth Powderly, Richard Powderly, Elizabeth O'Connell, Ethel Pellerin, Frances Sullivan and Paul Powderly; and his grandchildren, Raymond Emerson, Kimberly Lento (Robert), Neil Michael Gillis, Ryan Powderly, Jacquelyn Powers and Keith Marchione.
