He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gloria (Olansky); his children, Caren Caplan of Bedford, David Caplan of Arlington and Eric Caplan of Bethesda, MD.; his grandchildren, Josh, Jessica Rubin, Emily, Michaela Caplan, Yael and Naomi Caplan; and his sisters, June Gordon and Vivian.
