She was predeceased by: her parents, George E. Mahoney and Priscilla M. Slayton (Johnson). She is survived by: her husband Robert A. Carlo; her children, Kristina Votto (Michael Votto) and Robert A. Carlo Jr.; her brother William G. Mahoney (Donna); her granddaughters, Ava and Anna Votto; and her pet Sal.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place, West 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445.
