Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Louis Tompkins (Bedford, Massachusetts), who passed away at the age of 79, on November 15, 2021. He was predeceased by: his sister Bernice Cedrone (Farnum); and his parents, Gladys "Regina" Tompkins (Warren) and William C. Tompkins. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Casey Tompkins, Karina Crowley, Shannon Crowley and Dylan Nibblett; and his sisters, Virginia O'Connell (Farnum) and Jean Barnes (Marsha). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has set up a charitable organization to provide academic scholarships for high school students that played in the Bedford Babe Ruth League and/or the Lou Tompkins Allstar Baseball League.
