Karen M. Schoelles Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen M. Schoelles (Bedford, Massachusetts), born in Saint Clair, Michigan, who passed away on October 31, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Lavelle and Barbara Jean Terrell. She is survived by: her sister Carole Lacy-Carella; her brother-in-law Joe Carella; her nephews, Alex Lacy, Forrest Lacy and Matthew Carella; and her daughter Karen.
In lieu of flowers, Karen asked that donations be made in her memory to the SCHC, a 501c (3) nonprofit organization and list the Karen Schoelles Social Justice Fund, whose purpose is to educate and transform how society (all faiths) can change patterns of social justice inequities inflicted on people of color.
