We are sad to announce that on October 18, 2022, at the age of 79, Joanna D. Nickerson of Bedford, Massachusetts, born in Elizabethton, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Hugo Doob; and her stepson Timothy Nickerson. She is survived by: her husband Bruce E. Nickerson; her daughter Elizabeth Ellison (Kendall) of Phoenix, AZ; her stepchildren, Rebecca Johnson (Ernie) of Wallkill, NY, Robert (Karrie) of Suffolk, VA and Jonathan of Cambridge; her siblings, David Doob of Westborough and Katharine Sakenfeld of Skillman, NJ; her sister-in-law Lorna Olson of Washington, IA; her grandchildren, Nicole, Terina, Jennifer and Ethan; and her great grandchildren, Vincenzo and Cataleya.
