He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry L. Gecks and Bertha H Gecks (Peters); his spouse Marion Gecks (Priebe); his brother Melvin John Gecks (Geraldine); and his nephew Dennis.
He is survived by: his children, Dianne Carey (Daniel), Bruce Gecks (Kathleen), Carole Burns (Douglas), David Gecks (Norma Jean) and Stephen Gecks (Lisa); his grandchildren, David Carey, Bethany Carey Beck (Adam), Gregory Burns (Samantha), Jaclyn Vitalie (Craig), Cassie Baum (Brian), Benjamin Carey (Bethany), Corissa Webb (Zackery), Brandon Burns, Ryan Gecks and Evan Gecks; his great grandchildren, Morgan, Emmanuel (Manny), Gavin, Audrey, Harper, Scarlett, Lindsey and Hazel; his niece Vicky Lewis; his nephew Craig Priebe; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Priebe.
