He was predeceased by: his parents, Isidor Kaitz and Anna Kaitz (Cohen); his siblings, Haskell Kaitz and Joan Levine (Kaitz); his grandson Ethan Denmark; and his son-in-law Larry Cowan.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Leshin; his children, Janet Cowan, Steven Kaitz (Debborah) and Cheryl Denmark; his grandchildren, Sara Chella (Cowan), Michael Cowan (Christina), Stefanie Guillemette (Jeremy), Jenesse Kaitz (John), Danielle Kaitz (Adam) and Deanna Merrill (Kinkaid); and his stepgrandchildren, Sean Sirrianna and Carissa Neely (Phillip).
