It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Furlong (Becket, Massachusetts), born in Northampton, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 28, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph H. Furlong and Elizabeth Ellsworth Furlong; and his sister Charlotte Simmons. He is survived by: his significant other Rita Frisbie Furlong; his daughters, Kimberly Fennell (Stephen) of Niantic, CT and Janine Cote (Matt) of Dalton, MA; and his siblings, David Furlong Sr. of Dalton, MA and Elizabeth Stokes.
