He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth McDonald (Gorman) and James Joseph McDonald; and his family, George, Russell, Rita and Norman McDonald.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth McDonald (Better); his children, Richard McDonald (Bonny), Anne Goodwin (Kenny) and Joan McDonald (William Mariano); his daughter-in-law Tracy McDonald (late James McDonald); his grandchildren, Kelly Pfeiffer (McDonald), Bruce McDonald, Kathy Kulakusky (Goodwin), Ryan Goodwin, Grace McDonald, Rachel McDonald, Garrett McDonald and Lauren McDonald; his sister Elizabeth Martone (McDonald) of Bourne, MA.; his close friend William Donovan; and his sons, James and Richie.
