She is survived by: her sister Virginia "Ginger" Watson; her brothers-in-law, Bob Watson (Margaret "Peggy" Blackford) and Earl Blackford; her husband Lowell Thomas "Tom" Posey; her daughter Laura Guilbault (Peter Guilbault); her granddaughter Bethany Baptista; and her grandson-in-law John Baptista (Danielle Guilbault).
Carol requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be given in her memory to the Barre Congregation Church.
