He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marjorie; his daughter Susan Mercer of Grover Beach, CA; his grandchildren, Jason Murphy of Phoenix, AZ and Jennifer (Bobby Picardo) of Washington, DC; his son Doug; his grandchildren, Ashley, Tim Kenny of Ashburn, VA, Nicola Mercer and Anthony Salerno of Boca Rotan, FL; his son Matthew; his grandchildren, Kenneth Mercer (Michelle Hutton) of Morrisville, NC, Emily, Perry DeLuke of Wilmington, NC and Stephen Mercer of Wilmington, NC; his siblings, William, Margaret and Sandra; and his sister-in-law Liz Mercer of Stoughton, MA.. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
