She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Maurice and Sadie Pitts (Bryden); her husband Robert Edward Johnson; and her siblings, Daniel Pitts, Rita Connington, Robert Pitts, Edmond Pitts, Theresa Donahue, Albert Pitts and Marie Desisto.

She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Ferullo (Charles) of Onset, Donna Johnson of Winter Haven, Darlene Anthony of South Dennis and Carol Johnson Cifelli of Merrimack, NH; her siblings, Egar Pitts (Winnie) and Clara Pitts; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Pitts and Alice Pitts. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
