He is survived by: his sister Jelte; and his children, Jilda Barcalow, Steven Bommer (Barbara Cooper), Maura Bommer (Toine van), Knaap of Ontario, Canada, Jay (Rung Bommer), Audrey Bommer and Amy (Gerald Griffin). He is also survived by eight grand-children and seven great-grandchildren.
