He was predeceased by: his parents, John Grucan and Rose Grucan (Dlugakenska); his wife J. Ellen Grucan (Strott); his son Matthew L. Grucan; and his siblings, Chester Poploski, John Grucan, Peter Grucan, Paul Grucan, Jeannette Arsenault, Helen Trinque, Anna Bibeau and Frances Grucan.
He is survived by: his children, Robert S. Grucan (Joyce) of Baldwinville, Susan E. Gallagher (John) of Clinton and Jenelle R. Maloy (Brian) of Rindge, NH; his grandchildren, James Desmarais, Jill Grucan Dodero, Samuel and Margaret Maloy; his great grandchild Elina Dodero; and his siblings, Stanley Grucan of Gardner and Florence Stone of Athol.
