He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jumbo" Mason and Marie Mason (Dunn); his brother Steven "Weasel" Mason; and his brothers-in-law, Steven Hamilton, Jimmy Hamilton, Kevin Hamilton and Tom Jankauskas.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Mason (Hamilton) of Baldwinville; his children, Steven Mason of Gardner, David Mason of Baldwinville, Thomas Mason of Baldwinville, Heidi Martin of Baldwinville, Kate Blair (John) of Phillipston, Lisa Mason of Gardner, Tammy Crisafulli (J. D.) of Billerica and Jeanna Mason (Patrick Mullan) of Gardner; his grandchildren, Corey (Sydney), Rachel, Joey, Mindy, Joshua, Colin, Catie, Emily, Norah, Chris, Layla, Mikey and Jack; his great grandchildren, Eliza, Zaiya and Noah; and his siblings, David Mason (Donna) of Baldwinville, James "Moochie" Mason (Lois) of Baldwinville and Mary Velarde (Lou) of Templeton. He is also survived by many sister and brothers in law, nieces, nephews, cousins.
