It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Bourgeois of Ayer, Massachusetts, born in Brighton, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Amedee Bourgeois of Waltham, MA; her siblings, Stanley Jasoma (Barbara), Patricia Merril (Donald) and John Francis Murphy (Bed); her husband John (Jay); and her children, Jean Peeples (Michael), Judy Bourgeois, James Bourgeois, Joyce Bourgeois and Joel Bourgeois (Cathy).

She is survived by: her sister-in-law Irma; her brother Michael Murphy; and her children, John Bourgeois (Eileen) and Janice Pokorski.
