He is survived by: his foster child Sam Padilla; his children, Joanne Hardin, Julie Thomas (Jeffrey, Jennifer Leary), Paul Hardin (David Cao, Kevin) and Dale Hardin; his grandchildren, Bree Schpero, Dana Hardin, Brianna McInnes, Jeffrey, Sarah Thomas, Oliver and Simon Leary; his great grandchild Lincoln Schpero; his siblings, Lawrence Hardin (Phyllis) and Alice Dooling; and also Amy Sweeney. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
