Dianne (Uhlendorff) Bonnell Obituary
Dianne (Uhlendorff) Bonnell, 81 and a longtime resident of Ayer and Billerica, passed away peacefully in the presence of her loved ones on November 21, 2021. She was the beloved wife for over 60 years to Thomas Bonnell. Dianne was born in Somerville on October 5, 1940, a daughter to the late Carl and Elizabeth (Kent) Uhlendorff.
Dianne was raised in Lexington and attended school there she played field hockey and met her husband Thomas who was a football player. They settled in Billerica where they started their family. Dianne was a talented artist. She excelled in watercolors and could often be seen painting landscapes and flowers. Family was paramount in Dianne's life.
It was her greatest joy and accomplishment. She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed. In addition to her husband, Dianne is survived by her children; Thomas of Nashua, NH, John and his wife Rebecca of Madison, WI, Kerry and her husband Stephen of Fitchburg and Lawrence of West Concord.
She is further survived by her grandchildren; Nicole, Cristine, Michelle, and Grace as well as 7 great-grandchildren and three sisters; Nancy, Linda, and Norma. Dianne was sadly predeceased by her brother, Robert. Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Dianne for a period of visitation on Sunday December 5, 2021 from 1:00PM until 3:00PM in the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street, Littleton.
Her funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 3:00PM.
