It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Almon Ruggles Jr. of Ayer, Massachusetts, born in Lunenburg, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Almon Orcutt Ruggles, Sr. and Shirlie Ruggles (Waters); and his brother Ben (Sophie). He is survived by: his wife Marcia Jeanne Ruggles (Maloof); his daughters, Emily Clark (John) of Littleton and Alison Flynn (Michael) of Chelmsford; his grandchildren, Jack, Owen, Charlotte and James; and his brothers, Bill and Steve. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and their children, loving in-laws, and a host of long-time friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Badger Funeral Home - Groton (45 School St, Groton, MA 01450). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
