He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Smalley (Betty); his son Mark Alan Smalley; and also Annette Ellen Smalley. He is survived by: his wife Annette; his children, David Smalley of Ayer, MA, Diane Smalley of Birmingham, AL, Michael Thompson of Warren, OH and Scott Thompson (Carol) of Chattanooga, TN; and his grandchildren, Cay Hendrickson, Hayden Thompson, Cole Thompson and Ellie Smalley.
