He is survived by: his wife Karen McCarthy (O'Brien); his children, Brian McCarthy (Corinne), Bridgewater, Matthew McCarthy (Laura) of Braintree, Stephen McCarthy (Tayla) of Pembroke and Colleen Madar (Shaun) of Plymouth; his sister Paula Lyons (Dietmar); and his grandchildren, Rylee, Khloe McCarthy, Emma, Bobby McCarthy, Ryan, Angela McCarthy, Danny and Hayley Madar.
