He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Vera Ghilardi (Emma); his parents, Leo Ghilardi and Caterina Ghilardi (Baggi); and his children, Vera-Jean Ghilardi, Mary Eifler, John Ghilardi II, Michael Ghilardi and Christina Morris. He was also cherished by 7 other grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
