He was predeceased by: his parents, Yngvar Nilsson and Sarah Nilsson (Nagy); and his brother Robert Nilsson. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Nilsson (Daum); his daughters, Lisa Nilsson (Rich Remsberg) of North Adams and Hope Nilsson (Norm Bell) of North Adams; and his brother Albert Nilsson.

In keeping with the Covid-19 guidelines, which include face coverings, social distancing and wait times in line due to temporary limited capacity, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation period on Tuesday, November 10th, from 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM at the Avon Baptist Church, 119 North Main St., Avon, MA.

Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made in Gunnar's name to the Avon Baptist Church, 119 North Main St., Avon, MA 02322.
