He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard K. Sorrell and Alice C. Rider (Sorrell); and his brother Christopher Rider. He is survived by: his significant other Karen Elias; his siblings, Richard Sorrell Jr. (late Melanie) of Florida, Ramona Murray of Michigan, Phillip Sorrell of Brockton, Carl Rider of Pennsylvania, Lorene Venezia and Katherine Farrell of Stoughton; his significant other's children, David Techiera (Rachel Hanshaw), Sharon and Anna (family: Rachel, Travis); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Anthony and Jameson Ryan; and also Courtney Ryan (Stephen Ryan). He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
