He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Maximino Diaz and Enriqueta Barrero; his wife Teresa Barrero (Rodriguez); his children, Mack Barrero and Sandra Pearson; and his grandchildren, Ronald Murray, Parris Hearn, Brent Hearn III, Olivia Hearn and Isabel Genco. He was also cherished by five siblings and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
