He was predeceased by: his wife Tessie S. Mendys (Leszczynski); his daughter Patricia M. Goodhall; his grandson Jeffrey Plotczyk; his siblings, John, William, Peter, Joseph, Frank, Amelia and Helen; and his parents, John Mendys and Aniela Mendys (Sitko).
He is survived by: his daughter Carol Plotczyk of Fairhaven; his grandchildren, Andrew Plotczyk, Eric Goodhall (Donna) and Maura Wolfe (Thomas); and his great grandchildren, John, Tessa and Victoria.
