It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita A. Poirier of Auburn, Massachusetts, born in North Grosvenordale, Connecticut, who passed away on August 5, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Leo L. Poirier; her daughter Ann Marie Poirier; her siblings, Gerard "Jerry" Therrien, Raymond Therrien, Roger Therrien, George Therrien and Therese Oloff; and her parents, Joseph Therrien and Alberta Therrien (Houle).
She is survived by: her children, Lucien Poirier (Jalaine) of Clearwater, FL, Robert Poirier (Carol) of Woodstock, Pauline Morrill (Stephen) of Southbridge, Yvonne Westlake (John) of Coventry, CT and Yvette Davis of Putnam, CT; her brothers, Norman Therrien of North Grosvenordale, CT and Paul Therrien of Surprise, AZ; and her grandchildren, Jessica Pimentel, Lucien Presnell (Megan), Joshua Poirier, Jonathan Poirier (Michelle), Nicholas Emery (Allison), Ian Morrill (Justine), Brendan Morrill (Rebecca), Sean Lamoureux, Casey Davis and Ryan Davis. She is also survived by 28 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
