He was predeceased by: his son Joseph W. Fleming; his brothers, Michael and Timothy Fleming; and his parents, Lawrence Fleming and Myrtle R. Fleming (Miller).
He is survived by: his wife Anna M. Fleming (Denaris); his children, Richard F. Fleming, Jr. (Diane) of Ft. Wayne, IN, Stephen M. Fleming (LouAnn) of Paxton and Michele M. Hamilton (Paul) of Auburn; his grandchildren, Richard F. Fleming, III (Rachel), Matthew J. Fleming (Rebecca), Casey C. Fleming, Ryan T. Fleming, Tyler S. Fleming of Holly, A. C, Fricault (Paul) and Andrew J. "AJ" Hight; his great grandchild Opal Fleming; and his brother Lawrence J. Fleming of Shrewsbury. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
