He is survived by: his wife Lieu Nguyen; and his children, Hung Vu (Uyen) of Vietnam, Hiep Vu (Phuong) of Vietnam, Sang Vu of Vietnam, Hoang Vu (Ngan) of Vietnam, Tung Vu (Trang) of Auburn, Nguyet Vu (Nghia Nguyen) of Vietnam and Nhi Nguyen (Christopher Basiul) of Auburn. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
