The passing of Martin R. Kopka of Auburn, Massachusetts, born in Newport, Rhode Island leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 19, 2024 at the age of 87. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kopka and Dorothy Kopka (Johnson); his brother Bruce Kopka; and his wife Patricia Kopka (Sherry). He is survived by: his son Patrick Kopka (Nancy); his grandsons, Jack and Nick Kopka; his siblings, John (Pauline), Kevin (Caprice) and Valerie Grabicki (James); his in-laws, Paul, Kay Malkasian and Judy Sherry; his brother-in-law George Sherry; and his in-laws, George and Catherine Sherry. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, their children, and countless close friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at the Pakachoag Church (203 Pakachoag St, Auburn, MA 01501).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his honor to VIA (Virginia Institute of Autism) Centers for Neurodevelopment (https://viacenters.org), where Chick's grandson Nick is a student.
