We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Margaret A. Athanas of Auburn, Massachusetts, born in Worcester, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Athanas; her son Anthony Athanas; her siblings, James, Peter, Paul, George, Steven, Henry, Christy, Helen Proko and Tessie Sotir; and her parents, Samuel Proko and Anna Proko (Costa).

She is survived by: her daughters, Denise V. Thompson (Matthew) of Westminster and Carolyn A. Lavin (William) of Northborough; her grandchildren, Alexander Lavin (Meghan) of Holden, Joseph Lavin (Lauren) of New York City and Lindsay Lavin of Everett, MA.; and her great grandchildren, Grace, Patrick, Claire and Goldie Lavin.
