He was predeceased by: his children, James J. Chester, III and Lee Ann Chester; his sisters, Jean and Ann; and his parents, Royal J. Chester and Rose M. Chester (Chagnon).
He is survived by: his wife Erma J Chester (Riser); and his sister Mary Barnes of Worcester.
