He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold and Rita (Brunelle); and his former wife Annmarie Kane (Johnson). He is survived by: his wife Pauline R. Kane (Desrosiers); his children, Kathleen Fitzgerald of Rutland, James Kane Jr. of Danielson, CT, Karen Kim of Charlton and Joseph Kane of Rutland; and his stepchildren, Christopher Spring of Rochdale, Charlene Gott of Bowdoin, ME and Daniel. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
