She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Albano, Sr.; and her parents, Charles Dahrooge and Phyllis Dahrooge (Javobski). She is survived by: her children, Joseph Albano, Jr. (Christol) of Shrewsbury and Michelle Albano (Ryan Mancini) of Auburn; her grandchildren, Kayla, Annabella, Allie, Jayden and Anthony; her sister Helen Mancini of Connecticut; her brother-in-law James Albano; her stepmother Magaret Dahrooge of Westminster; and her stepdaughters, Marielena Albano of Worcester and Lisa Albano-Selzo of Worcester. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel (370 Plantation St, Worcester, MA 01605). A procession will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (640 Main St, Shrewsbury, MA 01545). A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Notre Dame Cemetery (162 Webster St, Worcester, MA 01603).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Elizabeth's memory to the American Cancer Society. American Cancer Society (National Home Office) in memory of Elizabeth "Betty" C. (Dahrooge) Albano.
